The ADG Awards 2018: Winners

Bridgeman Images was delighted to once again attend the Art Directors Guild Award 2018

The prestigious ADG Awards are dedicated to celebrating excellence in production design and art direction in the film and television industries. They have been presented annually since 1996, but 2018 was the first time the ADG had a category honoring animation.

This year's award show was held on January 27 at the Ray Dolby ballroom at Hollywood & Highland. Bridgeman Images' Edward Whitley, President and Kevin Gippert, Senior Account Manager attended and invited along their clients at Disney, Sony, Warner Brothers, Shed Media and freelance set decorators. The team also welcomed the exuberant Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart Simpson, to their table. Archival footage consultant Kate Coe was the winner of Bridgeman's e-mail competition to win a seat at the table.

“Movies ask the audience to believe in something, whether its dinosaurs, Indiana Jones, Abraham Lincoln or Life of Pi. The ability to create something we can only speculate about through our imagination…That is the profound impact of cinematic imagery. The images we remember, they stay with us for a lifetime.”

- Kathleen Kennedy (Cinematic Imagery Award)
