More about the artist
Born in 1943 in Surrey, Timothy Easton studied painting at Kingston School of Art, following an early childhood ambition to be an artist. Having moved to Suffolk in the 1970s, the house, garden, the surrounding countryside and his cats gave added inspiration to his work. Easton has shown work with the New English Art Club since 1990, and other notable galleries and venues have included the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and Chris Beetles Ltd, London. One of Bridgeman's most successful artists for image licensing, his paintings have featured in publications as well as on many greetings cards, CD covers and prints.
