Images available for licensing from this prestigious collection in Australia's capital include great landscapes of the rugged Australian outback, poignant photography of early settler life, a magnificent collection of Western modern art and the finest collection of Australian art. This includes iconic images of the notorious outlaw and folk hero Ned Kelly by one of Australia’s greatest painters, Sir Sidney Nolan, of whom Bridgeman also represents the estate.

The National Gallery of Australia adds to existing partnerships between Bridgeman and Australia’s greatest museums and libraries, providing a comprehensive visual overview of Australia, its landscape and people.

If you are looking to work on a project relating to Australian cultural history and unable to find an image, our researchers are happy to work with our collections to source it for you.
