Heaven Shall Burn is a German heavy metal band from Saalfeld, formed in 1996. They combine an aggressive metal sound with lyrics that show militant support of anti-racism and fighting social injustice.
“Land Of The Upright Ones” is the first song from their new album “VETO” that is scheduled to be released in April 2013. The cover of “VETO” shows the John Collier painting of Lady Godiva, (c.1898). Maik Weichert (guitarist in the band) comments as to why this piece of artworks perfectly with the underlying concept of the album: “It as an icon regarding the fight for social justice. It is also a great way to show our fans how current problems and topics can be reflected and derived from historical artworks." Read more...
