World renowned collections

The Dallas Museum of Art has exhibited and continues to exhibit works from world renowned artists in their numerous collections, such as the Wendy and Emery Reves Collection, which among the 1,400 paintings donated by the former Chanel designer contained works by artists such as like Van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Edgar Degas and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

A highlight of the Museum is a stainless steel piece by the American sculptor, Ellsworth Kelly, commissioned by the Museum for the opening of their new Edward Larrabee Barnes building in 1984.
