The Forbes Museum Collection houses an internationally recognised collection of Victorian paintings including work from some of the most eminent artists of the era: the Pre-Raphaelite painter, John Everett Millais and Royal Academicians such as William Powell Frith, Richard Redgrave, James J. Tissot and Frank Holl. The Museum also holds a collection of twelve Imperial Easter Eggs and other items created by the famed House of Faberge, aswell as jewellers to Russian royalty and aristocracy. The Museum also has a section devoted to memorabilia, with an emphasis on U.S. Presidents and a large collection of toy boats and toys of different styles and eras.
