Jo Chambers is an illustrator and textile artist based in Oxford, UK.
She studied both textiles and fine art, specialising in the mediums of embroidery and print making.
Jo's love for colour, pattern and objects that convey humour stem from her grandmothers eclectic, eccentric and often dusty house.
Specialising in work mainly floral and canine inspired Jo Chambers of Studio Legohead has drawn attention globally. With a unique quality for capturing the personality and humour of canines, her contemporary take on pet portraiture has been admired since 2010 and continues to grow.
Jos' portraits are loved for the unique style in which she captures the canines personality, whilst adding humour and charm.
As featured by Martha Stewart, Daily Candy and Oh Joy for creating "the most stylish pups", her portraits can also be seen in the newly published book '1000 Dog Portraits'.
Her floral and pattern based work are sold as prints, fabric, commissioned work and also licensed, and recently were featured in Oh Joy!'s Studio makeover created by interior designer and blogger Emily Henderson.
