Protesters staged a noisy night-long vigil outside the offices but their protest incurred the ire of residents. Demonstrators gathered to voice disapproval of the controversial Jabiluka Mine in the country's north which they claim will ruin a national park, put the world at risk through uranium sales and infringes on the rights of the native owners.
