In the footprint of the fallen towers, mourners of victims of the attack on the World Trade Center honor their loved ones at a ceremony marking the one year anniversary of the attacks, at ground zero in New York, September 11, 2002. One by one, the names of 2,801 victims of the WTC attacks echoed over the devastated site, as New York marked the painful first anniversary of the hijacked plane strikes.
