The Rebuking or Calling of Saint Peter

Lakeside setting, a tree on the shore left, the lake centre, to left a masted ship with a figure on it, with his arm raised, a hill in the centre background and a small lakeside village to the right. The scene alludes to the moment, according to Luke 5: 1-11, when Jesus was at the Lake of Gennesaret (The Sea of Galilee) and after catching an enormous amount of fish overnight, Simon Peter fell at Jesus's knees and said 'Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!' ...but Jesus said to Simon,'Don't be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.'
