Sep. 09, 1953 - Princess Margaret To Get A Sea Note: A bottle containing a present for Princess Margaret was washed up at Southwick, Sussex, after crossing the Atlantic. It was found by Mr. C. Todman, of Albert Road, Sothwick, on the beach under some seaweed. The present was a plaque showing a boat comming into harbour. There was also a roll of paper inside the bottle. This was addressed to Princess Margaret and it came from Joseph A. Rinkoski, SS American inventor. Pier 59, New York. Nobody knows what message the bottle contains, for Mr Todman will not open it” It belongs to the Princess and I am posting it off to her” he said
