National Geographic Channel: Killing Jesus

Palm Sunday 2015 saw the release of the much anticipated biopic about the life of Jesus of Nazareth, featuring archival and contemporary images licensed from Bridgeman.

Easter Sensation

On Palm Sunday 2015, the National Geographic Chanel debuted their sensational new docu-series, Killing Jesus.

Adapted from the 2013 New York Times best-selling book Killing Jesus: A History, the third in the series by provocative TV personality and “aggressively conservative” political pundit, Bill O’Reilly, in partnership with Martin Dugard, features several images licensed from the Bridgeman archive including works by Bridgeman artists Laura James and Craigie Aitchison.

Images licensed from Bridgeman were used within an impressive showreel of biblical art to accompany the film’s closing narrative, as well as for the concept design of the acclaimed visuals surrounding the movie.
