FASHION MUSEUM

Doris Langley Moore, fashion historian, Lord Byron Scholar and author of the 1940s ballet, ‘The Quest’, founded The Museum of Costume in Bath in 1963. The museum has since evolved to become the Fashion Museum and includes not only Langley Moore’s own collection of fashion plates, costumes and accessories but an extensive array of menswear, womenswear, fashion photography and illustration that provides a comprehensive overview of British fashion from the late 16th century to the present day.
